Knight of the Month

June, Curtis Kirchner

Grand Knight

Curtis has served as Grand Knight for the past two years, his term is up and he will become a Trustee for the council. Under Curtis Leadership our council flourished and has earned over $58,000 that has either been given to Knights Supreme or put back into our community with either charitable donations or Goods and Services. We congratulate you and appreciate the way you led our council.

March, Duane Kliethermes

Fish Fry Chairman
2016 was a record "Fish Fry Season." We collected more than $17,000 in gross sales and netted, after expenses, well over $9,000. All Fish Fry proceeds will be donated to our local charities. Duane attributes the success to the great value of our dinners, the wonderful fellowship experienced during the meal, and mostly, all to the dedicated Knights who devoted countless hours to making sure "the Sacred Heart Fish Fry Experience" was the best to be found anywhere.

May, Ron Schwintek

Care Show Chair

Ron Schwintek chaired the Sacred Heart 2016 Knights of Columbus Car Show. Our event was a success, many spectators and car competitors enjoyed a GREAT time, GREAT food, GREAT music, and most importantly they were exposed to our wonderful parish. This year the Car Show cleared slightly over $4,000 after expenses. The money will be donated to our local charities as voted on by the Knights Council. Thank you Ron!

February, Art Roth

Gun Raffle Chairman

Art organized and chaired this year’s Gun Raffle. It’s a big task to organize and motivate a large group of Knights to sell tickets and collect the money. This year’s Gun Raffle net was $3,600 which will go to local charities. Art also serves as one of the Council’s Trustees.

April, Joe Bax

Not Your Average "Joe"

Joe was selected because of his "always being there when help is needed" attitude. He is always willing to roll up his sleeves to help ensure council events and meetings come off with seamless ease and he always does it with a smile. Joe’s guidance and positive attitude is one of the many reasons our Sacred Heart K of C is strong.

January, Gary Clark

Breakfast Chairman

Gary organized three Knights' breakfasts, including driving to Camdenton to ensure our breakfasts offer the best sausage possible. This year’s breakfasts’ net was $1,000 which will go to our local charities. Gary also serves as the Council’s Chancellor and is a key member of our car show success.
